Insulation Glass hot melt butyl is the first insulating glass sealant with permanent plastic.
Product Description: Hollow glass butyl sealant is a single component, solvent free, and permanently plastic first layer of low density hollow glass sealant based on polyisobutylene. Suitable for curtain wall insulating glass and louver insulating glass. Due to its excellent ultraviolet resistance, good air tightness and extremely low water vapor transmission rate, it forms an excellent water vapor blocking and inert gas exchange system with other elastic sealants (the second sealant - polysulfide, silicone, etc.) to ensure the service life of insulating glass.

Application Area
1.As a first insulating glass sealant in insulating glass production,to complete the double sealing with Silicone sealant, polysulfide sealant.Keep the applying area clean and dry,use the special hot melt extrusion pump.
2.Extrusion temperature at 120ºC-135ºC, environmental temperature >5ºC.
3.Control of the glue by adjusting the rubber pump with the difference of the temperature.
Mainly used for first-step sealing of insulating glass and glass curtain wall, fridge and ice tank etc.
The temperature range is between 110-140 °C
1. Appearance: homogeneous black putty.
2. Odor: odorless.
3. Denseness: forever ductility.
4. Density: 1.10g/cm3 or less.
5. SuitableTemperature: -40°C+80°C, keep the surface and edges and corners non-cracking,non- drooped.
6. Extruding temperature: 130°C or so.
7. Viscosity of strength:2.5 × 10-3mPa or more (Hard Aluminum / Hard Aluminum.)
8. Water Vapor Penetration Rate:10g / m³ or less.
9. Ultraviolet Radiation Resistance: Qualified
