3. Main Structural Characteristics
The roller section of this equipment employs a screw structure that significantly boosts the yield of insulating glass. Crafted from premium rubber and high-grade steel pipe, the transmission component ensures dependable performance. This machine is celebrated for its reliability, user-friendly operation, and effortless maintenance.
4. Main Components
The machine is an assembly of various components including input, output, heating, and roller pressing mechanisms, along with other essential transmission parts.
4.1 Input and Output
This section is crucial for linking the glass from one phase to the next during the hot pressing process, ensuring seamless transition and precision.
4.2 Heating Part
Comprising a steel roller and upper and lower heating frames, this section heats the glass surfaces to approximately 55°C, preparing it for the roller pressure section.
4.3 Roller Pressure Part
This part includes press rollers, lead screws, and a frame. The glass is expertly pressed into the desired shape upon entering this section.
4.4 Transfer Part
Employing chain drive technology, this machine uses a reducer powered by a frequency converter to manage the transfer roller speed. This minimizes the machine's power consumption while ensuring a stable glass transmission process.
4.5 Electrical System
The system includes a separate electric control cabinet, promoting safe operation and centralized control.
For optimal performance, place the insulating glass hot press on a dry, non-corrosive, indoor cement floor, maintaining temperatures between 15°C-35°C. Ensure a 380V, 50Hz power supply and water access.
6. Handling and Storage
To maintain the performance and precision of the insulating glass hot press, adhere to these guidelines during lifting and storage:
6.1 Important Considerations for Transportation:
6.1.1 Securely fix the insulating glass hot press and any accessories in the packing box to mitigate damage from collisions.
6.1.2 During storage and transport, use designated lifting ropes as per signs and prevent collisions during road transit.
6.2 Storage
6.2.1 To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your insulating glass hot press, it must be stored in a well-ventilated and dry environment. Under no circumstances should it be kept alongside corrosive substances. If outdoor storage is unavoidable, it is imperative to employ adequate rain and moisture-proof measures.
6.2.2 Sealing: To protect your equipment from rust due to inadequate packaging, ensure proper sealing for up to three months. Beyond this period, a resealing process is essential to maintain its pristine condition.
7. Installation and Commissioning
7.1 Installation
7.1.1 Unpacking: Carefully remove the insulating glass hot press from its container and relocate both the machine and the packaging base to a secure area. Utilize appropriate transportation tools to position the hot press accurately and ensure it is perfectly leveled.
7.1.2 Grounding
For assured safety, it is crucial to ground the hollow glass hot pressing machine using yellow and green double-stranded soft copper wire (insulator). The wire should have a cross-sectional area of 2.5 square mm. Post-grounding, the resistance between the machine body and the main ground point must be maintained below 0.1 ohms.
7.1.3 Connecting the Power Supply: This machine requires a 380V, 50Hz three-phase four-wire electrical connection to operate effectively.
7.2 Adjustment: Begin by connecting the equipment, ensuring all components are securely in place, and then proceed to level the entire machine for optimal functionality.
8. Use and Operation
Before utilizing the machine, verify that all systems are functioning correctly. Prior to shutdown, allow the equipment to run without load for 2 minutes to monitor its technical status, then safely turn off the power.
9. Maintenance and Care
Regularly apply lubrication to the drive shaft to ensure smooth operation and extend the machine's lifespan.
10. Common Faults and Troubleshooting Methods
To facilitate timely troubleshooting of common faults in the horizontal thermal sealing machine, this section outlines frequent issues, their possible causes, and succinct solutions (see Table 1). In case issues extend beyond this chapter's content, a comprehensive analysis based on specific circumstances and practical experience is recommended for accurate diagnosis and resolution.
